**KOCHI, November 19, 2024** – The Indian Union Muslim League (IUML) is actively mediating in the ongoing Munambam Waqf land dispute, holding talks with the Latin Catholic Church and the Munambam Land Protection Council to find a peaceful resolution.
IUML leaders, including State President Panakkad Syed Sadikali Shihab Thangal and National General Secretary P.K. Kunhalikutty, met with representatives from the Church on Monday. They stressed the importance of preventing the eviction of Munambam residents and protecting their legal rights. The IUML urged the Kerala government to intervene and find an amicable solution, emphasizing the need to maintain communal harmony. The party offered its full support in achieving a swift settlement.
