**Hyderabad, Telangana –** A significant drop in temperatures has brought a renewed chill to Hyderabad and surrounding districts. The city recorded a minimum temperature of 17.5 degrees Celsius on Monday, slightly below the normal, with some areas experiencing even colder conditions. The BHEL Factory area recorded the lowest temperature within the city at 12.9 degrees Celsius. Other locations, including Rajendranagar, Quthbullapur, and Sivarampalle, also reported minimum temperatures below 15 degrees Celsius.

The cold snap extended to neighboring districts, with Zahirabad and Bibipet in Kamareddy registering the region’s lowest temperature at a frigid 12.1 degrees Celsius. While Sunday’s maximum temperature reached 30.4 degrees Celsius, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicts continued cool mornings for the next seven days, with minimum temperatures ranging between 16 and 17 degrees Celsius. Partly cloudy skies and haze are also expected.
