Sun Nov 17 04:37:55 UTC 2024: ## Flash Bombs Target Netanyahu’s Home in Caesarea
**CAESAREA, ISRAEL (November 17, 2024)** – Two flash bombs were launched towards Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s home in Caesarea on Saturday night, Israeli police reported. While neither the Prime Minister nor his family were present at the time and no damage was reported, the incident has sparked outrage among top officials.
Defense Minister Israel Katz called the attack a crossing of “all red lines,” highlighting the existing threats against Netanyahu from Iran and its proxies. He urged security and judicial agencies to fully investigate and take appropriate action. President Isaac Herzog similarly condemned the incident and confirmed an investigation is underway. Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir echoed the condemnation, stating that the incitement against Netanyahu has reached unacceptable levels.
This is the second such incident targeting Netanyahu’s Caesarea residence. In October, a drone attack was launched against the home, though it also caused no harm. While there has been no claim of responsibility for Saturday’s flash bomb attack, the incident comes amidst ongoing tensions with Hezbollah in Lebanon, with Israeli forces engaged in cross-border fire since October 2023. The investigation into Saturday’s attack is ongoing.
