Sun Nov 17 07:49:57 UTC 2024: ## Andhra Pradesh Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan Rallies for NDA in Maharashtra
**Nanded, Maharashtra:** Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and Jana Sena Party leader Pawan Kalyan urged Maharashtra voters to reject “disruptive forces” and embrace the spirit of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj during his election campaign on Saturday. Addressing massive rallies in Palaj and Deglur, Nanded district, and conducting a 1.5 km roadshow in Latur, Kalyan campaigned for the NDA. He spoke in Marathi, Hindi, and Telugu, receiving enthusiastic responses.
Kalyan highlighted the NDA government’s achievements, including the Samruddhi Expressway and the revocation of Article 370, emphasizing the importance of stable governance for development. He drew parallels between India’s inclusivity – citing examples like the success of Bollywood actors and the reverence for former President Abdul Kalam – and the divisive nature of other countries.
He appealed to voters to safeguard the legacy of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and the Maratha culture, emphasizing his admiration for Bal Thackeray’s unwavering commitment to principles. Kalyan also condemned the Palghar Sadhu lynching incident, criticizing the then-Congress government’s response and urging for justice for the victims. He posed a stark choice to voters: unite for a strong future or remain divided and risk their very existence.
Former Maharashtra Chief Minister Ashok Chavan lauded Kalyan’s campaign, stating that his influence is uniting the nation for the preservation of Sanatana Dharma. Kalyan’s visit included a stop at the Karra Vinayaka temple in Palaj. He was accompanied by AP Minister Satya Kumar Yadav, BJP National Secretary Vishnu Vardhan Reddy, and Telangana MLA Ramarao Patel.
