**Yadgir, Karnataka, November 17, 2024** – The Karnataka BJP is demanding the resignation of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah over his alleged involvement in the MUDA (Mysore Urban Development Authority) scam. Addressing a press conference in Yadgir, BJP State General Secretary P. Rajiv accused the Chief Minister of moral turpitude, citing the MUDA scam, along with alleged corruption in the Valmiki and Excise departments, as evidence of widespread governmental malfeasance. Rajiv claimed the government diverted funds intended for development to election campaigns and asserted that the Chief Minister should step down due to his alleged role in the MUDA scandal.

Rajiv further criticized the state government’s handling of development projects, claiming a lack of funds for crucial initiatives and inefficiency in delivering centrally-sponsored programs to beneficiaries.

The BJP also announced the formation of three fact-finding committees to investigate the alleged land grabbing by the Waqf Board, pledging to support farmers whose land documents have been incorrectly registered under the board’s name. The party vowed to fight against what it termed an attempt by the state government to seize land from farmers. The press conference was attended by BJP district president Ameen Reddy Yalagi, youth leader Mahesh Reddy Mudnal, Devendra Nath Nad, Sharanabhupal Reddy, and others.
