Retired IAS officer Rajiv Ranjan Mishra will head the commission, according to orders issued on Friday. This decision follows a recent Supreme Court ruling that favored SC sub-categorization and meetings between the Chief Minister, N. Chandrababu Naidu, and leaders of the Makkal Adhikaram Rajya Sangham (MRPS), including its founder Mandakrishna Madiga, to discuss the issue.
