**Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh:** The Madiga Reservation Porata Samithi (MRPS) has welcomed the formation of a one-man committee headed by Justice Rajiv Ranjan Mishra to examine the sub-categorization of Scheduled Castes (SCs). Addressing a gathering of Madigas in Anantapur on Saturday, MRPS founder president Manda Krishna Madiga expressed gratitude to former Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu for keeping his promise on the issue. He lauded the Supreme Court’s intervention and the committee’s mandate to submit a report within two months. Madiga emphasized the MRPS’s three-decade-long struggle for SC sub-categorization and expressed confidence in achieving victory despite obstacles. He dedicated the success to those who sacrificed their lives for the cause, toiling masses, and the media. The meeting was presided over by MRPS district president Hari Gopal and attended by several other prominent leaders from the organization.
