**Hyderabad, November 14:** The Telangana Education Department has announced a re-verification of the credentials of candidates selected under the District Selection Committee (DSC) 2024 recruitment process, focusing particularly on those chosen under the sports quota. Allegations of irregularities in submitted documents have prompted the department to take this action.
A circular has been issued mandating the re-verification process, beginning November 20th. Approximately 84 candidates in the Greater Hyderabad region secured positions under the sports quota – 71 in Hyderabad and 13 in Rangareddy district. Verification of documents for Hyderabad candidates will take place on November 20th, and for Rangareddy candidates on November 21st, at the Physical Education College in Domalguda. The department aims to ensure the integrity of the selection process.
