**Chennai:** A war of words has erupted between filmmaker Vignesh Shivan and actor Dhanush following a legal notice issued by Dhanush to Nayanthara. Dhanush, producer of the film “Naanum Rowdydhaan,” sent a ₹10 crore legal notice to Nayanthara for allegedly using footage from the film in the trailer of her documentary, “Nayanthara: Beyond the Fairy Tale.” Nayanthara responded with a public letter. Escalating the conflict, Vignesh Shivan, Nayanthara’s husband, posted a video on Instagram criticizing Dhanush.
The video included a clip of Dhanush from an audio launch event saying, “Live… Let live.” It also showed the legal notice sent to Nayanthara. Shivan’s caption expressed a plea for love and understanding, seemingly directed at Dhanush. However, Shivan later removed the video. The incident highlights the ongoing tension between the parties following the legal dispute.
