If Zepeda defeats Tevin Farmer in their 10-round bout in Riyadh, he will immediately challenge Stevenson for the WBC lightweight title on February 22nd.

De La Hoya’s announcement comes in response to online speculation that Zepeda might avoid a fight with Stevenson, opting instead for a potentially more lucrative matchup with Gervonta Davis. De La Hoya dismissed these concerns, emphasizing Zepeda’s readiness for a title shot.
