**Blackburn, UK –** Undisputed light-heavyweight boxing champion Artur Beterbiev will be making a special appearance in Blackburn on December 1st as part of a UK tour. The event, titled “The Greater Fight,” will be held at the Grand Venue on Hamilton Street and is one of only three such events taking place across the UK (Birmingham and Luton being the others).
Beterbiev, the first undisputed light-heavyweight champion since Roy Jones Jr. in 2002, will be participating in a charity event organized by Al-Medina 313 to support humanitarian projects. The event is described as “male only.”
The 39-year-old champion, who recently defeated Dmitry Bivol to claim the WBA title, adding to his IBF, WBC, and WBO belts, boasts an undefeated professional record of 21 wins. He is also only the third Muslim boxer to achieve the undisputed championship title.
Organizers describe the event as an exclusive opportunity to meet the legendary athlete while contributing to vital causes. Special guests will include Qari Mikaeel Mala, boxing promoter Spencer Fearon, and politician Akhmed Yakoob.
