**Mumbai, India** – Vikrant Massey’s latest film, *The Sabarmati Report*, saw a disappointing opening day at the Indian box office, grossing an estimated ₹1.15 crore (approximately $140,000 USD). While this figure surpasses the opening day collection of Massey’s 2023 hit *12th Fail*, the overall occupancy rate remained low at 16.74 percent.

The film, which stars Raashi Khanna and Ridhi Dogra alongside Massey, has received mixed reviews. Critics have pointed to a weak second half, though some praise the film’s concluding scene. The movie faces stiff competition from major releases *Gladiator 2* and *Kanguva*.
