Sat Nov 16 11:50:00 UTC 2024: ## RRB Releases City Intimation Slips for ALP Exam; 18,799 Vacancies Up for Grabs
**NEW DELHI, November 16, 2024** – The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have released the exam city intimation slips for the Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) recruitment examination (CEN 01/2024). Candidates can download their slips from the official websites of the respective RRBs where they applied.
The first stage of the recruitment process, Computer-Based Test 1 (CBT 1), is scheduled for November 25-29, 2024. City intimation slips are being released ten days prior to the exam date, with admit cards to follow four days before the exam. For example, those with exams scheduled for November 26th can access their slips today, November 16th. Further release dates follow this pattern.
Initially advertised for 5,696 positions, the number of ALP vacancies has been significantly increased to 18,799 due to additional demand from Zonal Railways.
The selection process consists of five stages: CBT 1 and CBT 2 (both with negative marking – one-third deduction for incorrect answers), a Computer-Based Aptitude Test (CBAT) with no negative marking, Document Verification (DV), and a Medical Examination (ME).
Candidates are urged to visit their respective RRB websites to download their city intimation slips and subsequently their admit cards. SMS and email notifications are also being sent to candidates.
