In an upcoming episode of Netflix’s “The Great Indian Kapil Show,” airing Saturday, November 16th, Sidhu, a long-time friend and collaborator of Kapil Sharma, attributes his exit to “political reasons,” though he declined to elaborate further.

Sidhu, known for his witty one-liners and appearances on various comedy shows, was a judge on “The Kapil Sharma Show” before his unexpected departure in 2019. His absence sparked much speculation at the time. While he acknowledges other contributing factors to his leaving, he emphasizes the political reasons as primary. He described his past association with Sharma as “a bouquet created by God,” expressing hope for a reunion and continued success for the show.

His exit followed controversy surrounding his comments on the 2019 Pulwama terror attack, which drew public criticism.
