Hyderabad, November 16, 2024 – Nara Rammurthy Naidu, brother of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, passed away on Saturday afternoon due to a heart attack. He was reportedly unwell for the past few days. The death was confirmed by AIG Hospital at 12:45 PM.

Naidu’s passing has prompted an outpouring of condolences from across the political spectrum. Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy expressed his deep sorrow and offered prayers for Naidu’s soul, extending his sympathies to the bereaved family. Former Rajya Sabha MP Kanakamedala Ravindrakumar described the loss as devastating for the Nara family, highlighting Naidu’s significant contributions as MLA of Chandragiri constituency. Several Andhra Pradesh ministers, including Ministers Narayana, BC Janardhan Reddy, and Kandula Durga Prasad, also offered their condolences, praising Naidu’s service to the TDP party and the people of Chandragiri.

Upon learning of his brother’s death, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu immediately departed from Delhi and is expected to arrive in Hyderabad shortly. Funeral services are scheduled for Sunday in Naravaripalle, where Naidu’s body will lie in state for family, friends, and well-wishers to pay their respects. Actor Suman and former minister Motkupalli Narasimhulu were among the first to offer their condolences.
