Fri Nov 15 19:08:44 UTC 2024: ## India Dominates South Africa in T20I Series Finale

**Johannesburg, South Africa** – India completed a comprehensive 3-1 series victory over South Africa in the final T20I at The Wanderers on Friday. A stunning century partnership between Sanju Samson (100*) and Tilak Varma (100*) propelled India to a mammoth 283/1, a total South Africa never looked close to chasing.

Arshdeep Singh spearheaded India’s bowling attack, delivering a fiery new-ball spell that decimated the South African top order. He claimed two early wickets, setting the tone for a dominant performance from the Indian bowlers. South Africa was eventually bowled out for a paltry 148, a margin of defeat of 135 runs.

Samson and Varma’s centuries were the highlights of India’s innings. Both players reached triple figures, making it their second century in the series. Varma, in particular, impressed with his aggressive batting and showed incredible adaptability, effectively countering the South African spin bowlers.

While South Africa’s bowlers struggled to contain the Indian batsmen, their batsmen also faced a barrage of accurate bowling from the Indian pace attack. Miller showed some glimpses of counter-attacking, but the damage had already been done.

This win marks India’s fourth consecutive bilateral T20I series victory, following triumphs over Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. They have yet to lose a bilateral T20I series since winning the T20 World Cup earlier this year. The Indian team’s all-around performance, particularly their batting prowess and strong bowling attack, dominated the series.
