**New Delhi:** India clinched a resounding 3-1 victory over South Africa in the recently concluded T20I series, dominating both batting and bowling charts. The final match saw India triumph by a massive 135 runs.
Indian batsmen Sanju Samson (216 runs) and Tilak Varma (280 runs) were the standout performers, both scoring two centuries in the series. No other batsman crossed the 200-run mark. While Samson’s centuries were punctuated by quieter matches, Varma’s two hundreds followed scores of 33 and 20 in the earlier games. The top five run-scorers included only two South African players.
India’s dominance extended to bowling as well. Varun Chakravarthy led the wicket-takers with an impressive 12 wickets, significantly outpacing the competition; no other bowler reached double figures. Arshdeep Singh provided strong support with 8 wickets. Four out of the top five wicket-takers were Indian players.
