PATNA, BIHAR – The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has announced the results for the third phase of its Teacher Recruitment Examination (TRE 3.0). Over 38,000 candidates have been declared successful. The results are available on the BPSC official website, bpsc.bih.nic.in.
A total of 21,911 candidates have cleared the exam for classes 1-5, while 16,989 have qualified for classes 6-8. Over 500,000 candidates sat for the exam, which was held across the state in July. This recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 87,774 teaching positions across primary and middle schools in Bihar. The positions include 25,505 primary school teacher posts (classes 1-5), 18,973 middle school teacher posts (classes 6-8), and additional posts for SC/ST welfare department schools.
The written exam, originally scheduled for March, was postponed and rescheduled for July 19-22 after a paper leak. Successful candidates will now be called for interviews and document verification before final selection and placement in government schools across Bihar.
