**Johannesburg:** India thrashed South Africa in the fourth T20I, powered by stunning centuries from Tilak Varma and Sanju Samson. Varma, batting at number three, smashed an unbeaten 120, his second consecutive century in the series, making him only the second Indian after Samson to achieve this feat in T20Is. His innings included 10 sixes and 9 fours.
Samson, who had started the series with a century but followed it up with two ducks, silenced his critics with a breathtaking 120-run knock. His innings featured 9 sixes and 6 fours.
The Indian onslaught began early with Abhishek Sharma’s explosive cameo of 36 runs off just 18 balls (including 4 sixes and 2 fours) before he was dismissed.
Arshdeep Singh’s exceptional bowling further sealed India’s victory. He took 3 wickets for 20 runs in just 3 overs, including a wicket in the very first over.
