**Lucknow, India -** The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has revised the schedule for the Combined State/Senior Subordinate Services (Prelims) PCS examination. The exam is now scheduled for **December 22nd, 2024**, and will be conducted in two sessions.

Previously, the UPPSC PCS Prelims exam was planned for December 7th and 8th, while the UPPSC RO/ARO exam was slated for December 22nd and 23rd. However, following protests from candidates against conducting the UPPSC PCS exam over two days in multiple shifts, the commission revised the schedule on November 14th.

The UPPSC PCS Prelims exam will now be held on **December 22nd in two sessions:**

* **Session 1:** 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM
* **Session 2:** 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM
