**Tirumala, Andhra Pradesh:** Actress Aditi Govitrikar, known for her role in the Pawan Kalyan starrer “Thamudu”, was spotted at the Tirumala Venkateswara Temple on Friday. The actress, who hasn’t been seen in the public eye for quite some time, surprised many with her visit.
Govitrikar, who shot to fame in Tollywood with “Thamudu” in 1999, later featured in another Telugu film “Mounamelanoy”. She then shifted to Bollywood and appeared in several Hindi and Marathi films, but failed to achieve the same level of success. After a brief stint in web series during the pandemic, she seems to have taken a break from acting.
The actress, now a mother of two, was warmly welcomed by the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) officials who presented her with silk clothes and prasadams at the Ranganayaka Mandapam.
Govitrikar’s visit sparked a flurry of reactions on social media, with many netizens expressing surprise at her transformation. The actress, who was once known for her glamorous roles, looked visibly different and seemed to have embraced a quieter life.
Her visit to the temple, a pilgrimage site for many Hindus, signifies a shift in focus towards spirituality and family.
Govitrikar, who was married to Dr. Mufaddal Lakdawala, is currently raising her two children after separating from him in 2009.
