Amidst ongoing controversy surrounding allegations made by her stepdaughter Esha Verma, “Anupamaa” star Rupali Ganguly has received public support from the show’s producer, Rajan Shahi.
Esha, daughter of Rupali’s husband Ashwin Verma’s second wife, has accused Rupali of playing a role in ending her parents’ marriage and of mental and physical abuse.
Rajan Shahi, in a heartfelt Instagram post, praised Rupali for her “hard work, dedication, talent, honesty, integrity and humility,” stating that she is an “inspiration” to the entire production team. He also highlighted her commitment to her craft and the show’s success.
Rupali expressed her gratitude for Shahi’s support, emphasizing the significance of his backing.
Following the controversy, Rupali issued a legal notice to Esha, which prompted the latter to make her Instagram account private. In a recent video message, Esha thanked her supporters and clarified that she would be limiting her online presence for personal reasons. She also emphasized that she is protected in the US, where she currently resides.
