Fri Nov 15 22:27:41 IST 2024: ## Akhilesh Yadav Criticizes Yogi Adityanath’s “Bulldozer Politics” Ahead of UP Bypolls

**Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh –** Samajwadi Party (SP) president Akhilesh Yadav launched a scathing attack on Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath during a rally on Friday, November 15th, ahead of the November 20th by-elections in nine assembly constituencies. Yadav criticized Adityanath’s saffron attire, stating that true yogi-ship comes from actions and thoughts, not clothing.

He further condemned the BJP’s “politics of division,” contrasting it with the SP’s inclusive “PDA” (Pichda, Dalit, and Minority) agenda. Yadav specifically targeted the BJP’s use of bulldozers to demolish properties, praising the Supreme Court’s recent ruling halting the practice as “putting the bulldozer in the garage forever.” He accused the BJP of prioritizing divisive politics over serving the people.

Yadav also highlighted alleged discrimination against backward, Dalit, and minority communities in higher education, claiming that less than 15% of university appointments in Uttar Pradesh come from these communities. He termed this a violation of the Constitution and vowed to fight for inclusivity. The by-elections will take place in Sisamau, Katehri, Kundarki, Ghaziabad, Majhwan, Karhal, Khair, Phulpur, and Meerapur.
