Fri Nov 15 16:00:00 UTC 2024: ## Arlington’s First Luxury Apartments Near Completion, Almost 70% Already Leased

Arlington’s first luxury apartment building, One Rangers Way, is nearing completion and set to open in January. This baseball-themed community, located adjacent to Choctaw Stadium and within walking distance of Texas Live!, Globe Life Field, and AT&T Stadium, will offer studio, one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and penthouse apartments.

Construction began in October 2022, and the building boasts over 43,000 square feet of amenity space, including a fitness center, lounge, zen garden, bar, and an outdoor pool with a swim-up bar. A concierge service, staffed bar, and in-house hospitality team will provide resident services.

Texas Rangers Hall of Fame broadcaster Eric Nadel, who has a floorplan named after him in the building, described living there as “like living in a hotel.”

The project is a joint venture between the Texas Rangers and Baltimore-based developer The Cordish Companies. Rob Matwick, the Rangers’ executive vice president of business operations, highlighted the project as an opportunity for the team to expand their footprint in the community and connect with fans.

Rents start at around $1,500 a month, with penthouses priced over $4,000. Despite being a new venture, One Rangers Way has seen impressive leasing activity, with nearly 70% of units already leased, two months ahead of its opening date. Only 97 of the building’s 300 units remain available, with most of those not available until next summer.

Hard hat tours of the property will be available starting November 19th, with registration required through the One Rangers Way website.

Cordish, who developed a similar baseball-themed community, One Cardinal Way, near the St. Louis Cardinals’ stadium, is currently focused on opening One Rangers Way and has no immediate plans for other MLB-themed projects.

The entertainment district, where One Rangers Way is located, is a familiar area for Cordish, who has collaborated with the city of Arlington on various projects, including Texas Live!, Live! by Loew’s and Loew’s Arlington Hotel and Convention Center.

Last year, nearly $1 billion of development was underway in Arlington’s entertainment district, reflecting a strong commitment to growth and development in the area.
