Fri Nov 15 12:06:11 UTC 2024: ## Dehradun Crash: Six Students Dead in Tragic Accident, Video of Aftermath Removed from X
**Dehradun, India** – A horrific car crash near ONGC Chowk in Dehradun, India, has claimed the lives of six young students and left one critically injured. The accident occurred on November 12th, 2024, when a newly purchased Innova, driven by Atul Agrawal, collided with a container truck at around 1:30 AM.
Initial investigations reveal that the Innova, packed with six friends, was reportedly racing a BMW at speeds exceeding 100 km/h when the driver attempted to overtake, leading to the fatal collision. The car was severely damaged, with six of the seven occupants dying instantly. The lone survivor, Siddhesh Agrawal, is currently in critical condition at Synergy Hospital in Dehradun.
The deceased have been identified as Kunal Kukreja (23), Atul Agrawal (24), Rishabh Jain (24), Navya Goel (23), Kamakshi (20), and Guneet (19). All victims were under the age of 25.
A video showing the gruesome aftermath of the crash was widely shared on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), but was later removed by the platform for violating its content-sharing policies. The video, deemed “gratuitous gore”, showed disturbing scenes of body parts scattered on the road.
Following the removal, the user who posted the video, Chauhan, apologized for not adding a trigger warning or blurring sensitive content, claiming the video was shared for “information purposes.” However, another video of the crash’s aftermath remains on the platform.
Reports suggest that the car involved in the accident was owned by Sunil Agarwal, a firecracker businessman from Saharanpur, and was purchased during the Dhanteras festival just days before the fatal crash.
This tragic incident has once again highlighted the dangers of reckless driving and the importance of responsible behavior on the roads. Authorities are investigating the incident to determine the exact cause of the accident and hold those responsible accountable.
