**MUMBAI, INDIA** – The highly anticipated web series, “Freedom at Midnight,” has premiered on SonyLIV. Based on the bestselling book of the same name by Larry Collins and Dominique Lapierre, the series delves into the complex events surrounding India’s independence and the subsequent partition of India and Pakistan.

The series features a stellar cast portraying key figures of the Indian independence movement, including: Sidhant Gupta as Jawaharlal Nehru, Chirag Vohra as Mahatma Gandhi, Rajendra Chawla as Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, and Arif Zakaria as Muhammad Ali Jinnah. The cast also includes Ira Dubey as Fatima Jinnah, Malishka Mendonsa as Sarojini Naidu, Rajesh Kumar as Liaquat Ali Khan, and several international actors portraying British figures such as Lord Louis Mountbatten (Luke McGibbon) and Clement Attlee (Andrew Kalam).
