This recent surge in popularity comes after Malik faced backlash for the leaked video in October. While some speculated the leak was a publicity stunt, others offered their support. Actress Mishi Khan, however, publicly condemned Malik, accusing her of using vulgarity to gain fame and shaming her family and society.
