Wed Nov 13 02:30:00 UTC 2024: ## TRS Leader KTR Accuses Police of “Kidnapping” Former MLA in Vikarabad Attack Case
**Hyderabad:** Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) working president K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) has condemned the arrest of former Kodangal MLA, Patnam Narender Reddy, accusing the police of “kidnapping” him in plainclothes without proper notice or informing his family.
Speaking to the media at Telangana Bhavan in Hyderabad, KTR questioned the police’s actions, asking, “Is this what you call an arrest when you come in like kidnappers?” He further criticized the police for not issuing any notices and neglecting to inform the family before taking Narender Reddy into custody.
KTR demanded that Narender Reddy be subjected to a medical examination by private medical personnel, stating that they have no trust in the government doctors and system. He alleged that the arrested individuals were subjected to torture and raised concerns about the conflicting statements from the district collector and the IG on the presence of an attack in Vikarabad.
KTR alleged that the incident was a failure of the intelligence system and claimed that it was a deliberate attempt to spread unrest and grab land.
