**Hapur, November 11**: All schools in Hapur district, from classes 1st to 8th, will remain closed on November 13th and 14th due to the Kartik Ganga Mela, the District Basic Education Officer (BSAO) announced today.
Ritu Tomar, BSAO, stated that the decision was taken following an order from the District Magistrate. The closure is intended to ensure the safety of students amidst anticipated heavy crowds on the roads during the mela.
The annual Kartik Ganga Mela is held in Garhmukteshwar, attracting huge crowds. The authorities have warned that any school found open during the holiday period will face strict action.
