**Jashpur, Chhattisgarh:** Union Minister of Youth Affairs & Sports, Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya, announced the construction of a sports stadium in Jashpur, Chhattisgarh, during the “Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas” celebrations. This announcement was made at the request of Chhattisgarh Chief Minister, Bhupesh Baghel. The announcement was made during a 7km padyatra (foot march) organized as part of the “Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas” celebrations, which commenced from Komodo village and concluded at the Ranjit Stadium. The padyatra involved 10,000 “My India Youth Volunteers” alongside Chief Minister Baghel, Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sav, Ministers Ramvichar Netam and OP Choudhary, and Central Minister Mandaviya. The march aimed to raise awareness about government schemes benefiting tribal communities.

The event also included cultural programs showcasing the contributions of tribal leaders to India’s independence through plays, performances highlighting tribal heritage through dance, and a tree plantation initiative under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s “Ek Pedh Maa Ke Naam” initiative.
