Maruti Suzuki has unveiled its highly anticipated fourth generation Dzire sedan, a popular choice in the compact sedan category. The new Dzire boasts a host of upgrades, including enhanced design, safety, technology, powertrain, comfort, and style.

The car is designed to meet the evolving needs of Indian customers and boasts a 5-star Global NCAP adult occupant safety rating, making it the first Maruti Suzuki car to achieve this. It also earned a 4-star rating for child occupant safety.

The Dzire’s new features include a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a semi-digital instrument cluster, connected car technology, a single-pane electric sunroof, rear AC vents, and a rear center armrest. It also comes with a 360-degree camera for enhanced visibility and safety.

On the safety front, the Dzire is equipped with six airbags, electronic stability program (ESP), hill hold assist, ABS with EBD, three-point seat belts for all seats, and ISOFIX child seat anchors.

The new Dzire is powered by a 1.2-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine that produces a maximum power of 82 hp and 112 Nm of torque. It is available with a 5-speed manual transmission and an AMT option.

Maruti Suzuki is also offering a subscription model for the new Dzire, with a monthly payment of Rs. 18,248. This includes the car’s price, registration, maintenance, insurance, and roadside assistance.
