Mon Nov 11 17:52:11 UTC 2024: ## Protests Escalate in 10-Year-Old’s Murder Case: Uncle and Activist Climb Mobile Tower Demanding CBI Probe

**Jaipur, India -** In a desperate plea for justice, the uncle of a 10-year-old deaf and mute girl, who died in May after being found half-burnt, and a social activist have climbed atop a mobile tower in Jaipur. They are demanding a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe into the case.

Tikaram, the girl’s uncle, and Kamal Meena, the social activist, claim that despite their efforts over the past six months, justice has not been served. They have released a video online reiterating their demand for a CBI investigation.

The incident occurred on Monday in the MI Road area. Police and civil defense teams have been dispatched to the site and are attempting to safely bring the men down.

The victim, Dimple Meena, was found in a half-burnt state in Karauli in May. Her family suspected she had been raped and then burned, although rape was not confirmed during the investigation. Dimple died on May 20 during treatment. The post-mortem revealed she had been poisoned.

Police have arrested Dimple’s parents and maternal uncle in connection with the case.

The protest highlights the family’s frustration with the investigation and their unwavering belief that a CBI investigation is necessary to uncover the truth and ensure justice for Dimple.
