**SOUTH BEND, Ind. -** The Notre Dame Fighting Irish men’s basketball team will look to continue their winning ways when they face the Buffalo Bulls at Purcell Pavilion on Monday, November 11th at 7:00 PM ET. The game marks the first ever matchup between the two programs.

The Irish are coming off a dominant 89-60 victory over Stonehill in their season opener, showcasing a strong offensive performance led by returning sophomores Markus Burton and Braeden Shrewsberry. Burton, the 2024 ACC Freshman of the Year, impressed with a game-high 18 points, while Shrewsberry also contributed 18 points.

Buffalo enters the game with a 2-0 record, having defeated Old Dominion and Fredonia. They are led by Tyson Dunn, who recently recorded the program’s fourth triple-double with 14 points, 10 rebounds, and 14 assists.

Irish fans will see a familiar face on the Buffalo bench in former Notre Dame assistant, now Bulls Associate Head Coach Hamlet Tibbs.

The preseason hype surrounding Burton and Shrewsberry as one of the best young backcourts in the ACC is starting to materialize.
