**New York, NY** – While bond traders will be enjoying a long weekend in observance of Veterans Day, stock traders will be back at their desks on Monday. The bond market will be closed on Monday, November 11th, while the stock market will operate as usual.

Both markets will be closed for other upcoming holidays, including Thanksgiving (Thursday, November 28th), Christmas (Wednesday, December 25th), and New Year’s Day (Wednesday, January 1st).

The stock market will close early on the day after Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve. Bond markets will also close early on these days, as well as on New Year’s Eve.

The Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA) and the New York Stock Exchange have confirmed these holiday schedules.
