Sun Nov 10 13:03:52 UTC 2024: ## Canada Arrests Suspected Terrorist Arsh Dalla in Connection with Shooting Incident

**Milton, Ontario** – Arshdeep Singh Gill, alias Arsh Dalla, a designated terrorist by India, is believed to have been arrested in Canada’s Ontario Province in connection with a shooting incident that occurred on October 28th, 2024.

The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) confirmed the arrest of two men on November 5th, charging them with “discharging firearm with intent.” While the police did not initially disclose the identities of the suspects, sources in New Delhi claim that one of the arrested individuals is likely Arsh Dalla.

Dalla, associated with the banned Khalistan Tiger Force (KTF), is alleged to have operated terror modules on behalf of Hardeep Singh Nijjar, another designated terrorist who was killed in June 2023.

The incident that led to the arrests involved two men who presented themselves at a hospital in Guelph, Ontario, on October 28th. One of them was treated for a non-life-threatening gunshot wound, believed to have been sustained in the Halton region. The HRPS Major Crime Bureau is currently investigating the incident.

Dalla, accused of involvement in targeted killings, terror financing, and extortion in Punjab, was designated a terrorist by the Indian government in January 2024. The Union Home Ministry cited his involvement in large-scale cross-border smuggling of drugs and weapons.

This arrest comes after Punjab Police apprehended two alleged shooters from Arsh Dalla’s gang, suspected of being involved in the murder of a Sikh activist last month.

The Canadian authorities have not yet officially confirmed the identity of the arrested individuals, but the news of Dalla’s potential arrest has sparked significant attention in India and Canada.
