Sun Nov 10 14:40:00 UTC 2024: ## Snowport Returns to Boston Seaport with Festive Market, Curling, and Food Galore!
**Boston, MA** – The Boston Seaport is transforming into a winter wonderland as Snowport, the annual holiday extravaganza, kicks off today. The event features a bustling market filled with over 120 local vendors selling everything from artisan foods and clothing to home décor and unique knick-knacks. This year, the market boasts a diverse selection with 22% new vendors, 65% from New England, and 83% owned by women and/or BIPOC entrepreneurs.
But Snowport is more than just shopping. Visitors can enjoy free ice-free curling lanes, a festive tree market, menorah and Christmas tree lighting events, an NYE ice sculpture stroll, and the adorable Betty the Yeti! Food and beverage enthusiasts will find a tempting array of returning favorites like Zaz Restaurant and the Frenchman’s Crepes, alongside exciting newcomers like Dumpling Daughter, Eloti, and S’mores N’more.
For those looking to skip the lines, the Seaport Insider app offers timed-entry tickets for the weekend market at a cost of $12 (or $6 for veterans and children). The app also features exclusive deals for users, such as a BOGO HeyDay facial or a free food item at Flight Club.
Local chai concentrate and spice shop Madhrasi Chai is a highlight for Snowport Associate Director of Community and Partnerships, Emily Soukas. The shop is one of 12 scholarship recipients, receiving discounted booth space and business coaching.
Snowport runs until December 29th, offering extended hours starting December 9th. Be sure to check out the full list of vendors and the event calendar for a complete schedule of festivities.
