**WASHINGTON, D.C. -** President Joe Biden will meet with President-elect Donald Trump at the White House on Wednesday, November 13th, according to a White House spokesperson. The meeting, at 11 a.m. in the Oval Office, is a traditional gesture of transition between outgoing and incoming presidents.
This will be the first time Trump has participated in a postelection meeting with the outgoing president, having skipped such a meeting with Biden after his 2020 election loss.
Trump, who defeated Vice-President Kamala Harris in the November 5th election, will officially take office on January 20, 2025.
