Sat Nov 09 03:30:00 UTC 2024: ## Paul George Returns to LA as Sixers Seek Second Win
**LOS ANGELES, CA** – The Los Angeles Clippers will host their former star Paul George and the Philadelphia 76ers tonight at the Intuit Dome, marking George’s first game against his old team since demanding a trade. The game will also see James Harden playing against his former team in Philadelphia, where he once led the charge for the Sixers.
George, who left the Clippers after contract negotiations fell apart, will be looking to prove his point to his former franchise, despite still being listed as “probable” for the game due to some rust shown in his debut. His new teammate Joel Embiid, however, will be absent for the game, serving a three-game suspension.
The Clippers themselves will be without their own star, Kawhi Leonard, who continues to deal with lingering inflammation in his knee. They will also be without Mo Bamba and P.J. Tucker, who remains on the team despite not finding a trade.
Harden, meanwhile, is the lone member of LA’s Big 3 still playing for the Clippers, averaging 21.1 points, 8.7 rebounds, and 9.9 assists. His shooting percentage, however, has been a concern.
For the Sixers, the game will be their second of three games on the West Coast, and they are looking to overcome a three-game losing streak. They’ll also be looking to earn their second win of the season.
The game will tip off at 10:00 p.m. ET and can be watched on NBC Sports Philadelphia and ESPN.
