LaMelo Ball led the Hornets with 25 points, six rebounds, and eight assists, while Miles Bridges added 27 points and seven rebounds. Miller, who finished with 19 points, six rebounds, and four assists, delivered the game-winning shot as time expired, proving to be the hero for Charlotte.
The Pistons were led by Cade Cunningham, who recorded his fourth career triple-double with 20 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists. Jaden Ivey chipped in 21 points, but the Pistons ultimately fell short.
