**MUMBAI, INDIA** – Embassy Office Parks REIT announced the appointment of Ritwik Bhattacharjee as its interim CEO, effective immediately. This follows the departure of former CEO Aravind Maiya on Tuesday, prompted by directives from the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI).

SEBI ordered the suspension of Maiya following an investigation by the National Financial Reporting Authority (NFRA) into his past role as an auditor in a financial misconduct case. Concerns regarding his professional background led to the directive.

Bhattacharjee, a founding member of the team that helped list Embassy REIT in 2019, previously held the position of chief investment officer. He brings over 12 years of experience in investment banking with firms including Nomura, Citi, UBS, and JPMorgan.

Maiya has assumed the role of head of strategy at the REIT.
