Fri Nov 08 06:30:00 UTC 2024: ## Sebastian Stan Slams Donald Trump as “Paranoid, Scared Little Man” in ‘The Apprentice’ Biopic

Actor Sebastian Stan, who portrayed Donald Trump in the upcoming biopic “The Apprentice,” has delivered a scathing critique of the former president, calling him a “paranoid, scared little man” in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter’s Awards Chatter podcast.

Stan, who believes the film offers a unique insight into Trump’s character, argues that watching the film allows viewers to “experience” the man behind the persona. “You hear facts, we all hear information, but you don’t experience it,” he stated. He emphasized that the film questions whether viewers would trust Trump to make decisions beneficial to them, concluding, “There is one paranoid, scared little man that’s still out there fighting the good fight to get into the membership club of Manhattan and be put on a plaque on a wall. He ain’t caring about your situation.”

Stan also reflected on his own American dream journey, acknowledging that he “lucked out” in achieving success. However, he questioned the very concept of the American dream, highlighting the sacrifices made by those who came before him.

“The Apprentice” delves into Trump’s early career as a real estate tycoon in New York, focusing on his relationship with lawyer Roy Cohn. Directed by Ali Abbasi and written by Gabriel Sherman, the film features a stellar cast including Jeremy Strong as Roy Cohn, Martin Donovan as Fred Trump, and Maria Bakalova as Ivana Trump. Despite its initial scheduled release in India in October, the film faced a setback with the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC).

The upcoming US presidential election 2024 is scheduled for November 5th, with results expected on November 6th. Stan’s comments, coupled with the release of “The Apprentice,” are sure to stir further debate and scrutiny of Donald Trump and his potential role in the upcoming election.
