**Manila, Philippines –** The QCinema International Film Festival, running from November 8th to 17th, is bringing a diverse lineup of 10 acclaimed films from world-renowned directors to the screens of Metro Manila. The Screen International section spotlights a mix of storytelling styles, featuring winners from prestigious film festivals like Cannes and Venice.
Highlights include Payal Kapadia’s **”All We Imagine as Light,”** the first Indian film in decades to compete at Cannes and winner of the Grand Prix. Set in Mumbai, the film follows three nurses navigating their personal struggles amidst the complexities of urban life.
Other notable selections include Miguel Gomes’ **”Grand Tour,”** Portugal’s Oscar entry following a British civil servant’s journey across Asia in 1917; Federico Luis’ **”Simon of the Mountain,”** exploring themes of perception and belonging; and Sean Baker’s Palme d’Or winner, **”Anora,”** a tale of a Brooklyn sex worker fighting for stability after an impulsive marriage.
