Thu Nov 07 17:53:47 UTC 2024: ## Yoga Teacher Survives Attempted Murder, Claims to Have Faked Death Using Techniques

**Bengaluru, November 7, 2024:** A 34-year-old yoga teacher has miraculously survived an attempted murder after being abducted at gunpoint, buried alive, and left for dead by a detective agency owner and his associates. The victim, who is separated from her husband and supports her two children by teaching yoga, claims she used “yoga techniques” to fake her death and escape the grave.

The incident occurred on October 24th when the victim, who was providing yoga therapy to Satish Reddy, owner of Mahanagari Detective Agency, was lured into a car on the pretext of rifle shooting training. Three other men were present in the car, and the victim suspected something was wrong. She resisted but was overpowered and abducted at gunpoint.

The accused, including Reddy, assaulted the victim, accusing her of having an affair with the husband of a woman named Bindu, who allegedly hired them to abduct and kill the victim. The victim was subjected to severe assault and torture, and the accused, believing her to be dead, drove her to a deserted spot in a forest, dug a trench, and buried her.

However, the victim claims to have used yoga techniques to feign death. She awoke after the accused left and walked for three kilometers before seeking help from a family in Dibburahalli. The family alerted the police, who took her to the hospital and recorded her statement.

Five individuals, including Satish Reddy and Bindu, have been arrested. The accused, including Reddy, have a history of criminal activity. Reddy was previously arrested by the Central Crime Branch (CCB) earlier this year for illegally sourcing Call Detail Records (CDRs) of private individuals.

The police are currently investigating the victim’s claims about using yoga techniques to fake her death. This case highlights the chilling lengths to which individuals will go to settle personal vendettas and the remarkable resilience of the human spirit.
