Chelsea recorded their biggest ever UEFA Conference League victory, and their biggest win since 2012, dismantling Armenian side Noah 8-0 at Stamford Bridge. The Blues showcased a dominant display of attacking prowess, scoring six goals in the first half alone.
The floodgates opened in the 12th minute when Tosin Adarabioyo headed home a corner kick, followed seconds later by Marc Guiu’s first goal in Chelsea blue. Axel Disasi and Joao Felix added to the tally before the half-hour mark, with Felix grabbing his second goal just before the 20th minute. Mykhailo Mudryk then unleashed a ferocious shot from the edge of the box, followed by another goal from Felix for a 6-0 lead at halftime.
The second half saw Chelsea continue their onslaught, with Christopher Nkunku adding two goals to the score sheet. A penalty by Nkunku in the 76th minute sealed the 8-0 victory, equalling Chelsea’s Premier League record win against Aston Villa in 2012.
The victory maintains Chelsea’s position at the top of the Conference League standings. The team now faces Heidenheim in their next fixture, before a highly anticipated London derby against Arsenal at Stamford Bridge.
