**Mumbai, India:** Renowned television actor Nitin Chauhan, best known for his win in the reality show “Dada Giri 2,” was found dead in his Mumbai residence on Thursday. He was only 35 years old.
Chauhan, originally from Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, had also won MTV’s “Splitsvilla Season 5.” He made notable appearances in television shows such as “Zindagi Dot Com,” “Crime Patrol,” and “Friends,” gaining significant popularity from his role in “Crime Patrol.” His last known project was the 2022 Sab TV series “Tera Yaar Hoon Main.”
While co-stars Sudeep Sahar and Sayantani Ghosh confirmed the news, they cited a lack of further information. However, a post by former colleague Vibhuti Thakur suggests Chauhan took his own life.
Sources indicate Chauhan’s father has arrived in Mumbai following the news and is expected to take his son’s body back to Aligarh for the funeral. While the police are investigating the case from all angles, an official statement is yet to be released.
