**COIMBATORE, November 7, 2024:** A 33-year-old woman, R. Poornima, was hospitalized with severe injuries after an electric pole fell on her in Coimbatore on Thursday evening. The incident occurred around 6:30 p.m. in Gandhi Nagar, Sivananda Colony.

According to police, Poornima sustained injuries to her head and was immediately taken to the Coimbatore Medical College Hospital for treatment. The cause of the pole falling is currently under investigation.
