**Ann Arbor, MI** – Democratic incumbent Debbie Dingell has secured another two-year term representing Michigan’s 6th Congressional District, defeating Republican challenger Heather Smiley. With nearly all votes counted, Dingell garnered 62% of the vote, while Smiley received 35%.
Dingell, who first won the seat in 2014, has made a name for herself through her legislative work, including passing bills addressing PFAS contamination and extending funding for home-based care for older Americans.
