The popular Skoda Kushaq SUV is getting a facelift in 2025, marking its first major update since its launch in 2021. The updates are expected to be largely cosmetic, bringing the Kushaq in line with Skoda’s new “Modern Solid” design language, which debuted in India with the Kylaq. This design philosophy will likely be adopted by other Skoda models in the coming years.
Spy shots of the refreshed Kushaq reveal a new ADAS package, though Skoda is yet to disclose its plans for driver-assistance systems in the Indian market. Other new features include a 360-degree camera and an enhanced connected car system.
Despite the visual and technological changes, the Kushaq will retain its existing petrol engines: a 114bhp/178Nm 1.0-litre TSI for the lower-spec variants and a 148bhp/250Nm 1.5-litre TSI for the more powerful models. Transmission options remain the same, with a six-speed manual gearbox for both engines, a six-speed automatic for the 1.0-litre, and a seven-speed DSG for the 1.5-litre engine.
