Thu Nov 07 11:40:00 UTC 2024: ## Valley to Experience Record-Breaking Warmth Today Before Cold Front Brings Rain

The Valley is expected to experience record-breaking warmth today, with temperatures potentially reaching the upper 70s. This unseasonably warm weather is due to a cold front that is currently moving in. While the day will be sunny and pleasant, clouds are expected to increase later this afternoon.

A chance of rain is possible this evening, though the amount is expected to be minimal, ranging from a trace to a few hundredths of an inch. Overnight, temperatures will drop to the upper 50s under mostly cloudy skies.

The front will pass through the Valley early Thursday, bringing gradual clearing by late afternoon. Temperatures will remain warm, in the low 70s.

Friday will see abundant sunshine and highs in the mid-60s as high pressure builds in from the Great Lakes. The weekend will bring more seasonable temperatures, near 60 degrees. Saturday will feature sunshine, while increasing clouds are expected Sunday, with a chance of showers Sunday into Monday.

Next week will see temperatures in the low 60s most days, with another chance of rain arriving Thursday.
