**Ranchi:** Ahead of the Chhath Puja, the Ranchi Police have implemented stringent security measures, deploying drones, 1000 police personnel, and an NDRF team to ensure the safety of devotees.
The police will be using drone cameras to monitor key Chhath ghats. A dedicated bike squad, scuba divers, and an NDRF team with four boats and divers have also been deployed. The NDRF team, stationed at Kanke Dam, is ready to be deployed elsewhere if required.
Police officials have instructed all station house officers to maintain heightened vigilance at prominent Chhath ghats in their respective areas. Special attention will be given to the Dhruva Dam, Bada Talab, Hatania Talab, Kanke Dam, Chadari Talab, and the Jummar River ghats. Other smaller ghats will be under the watch of the respective police stations.
